Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Jacob S. Stark is the founder and CEO of PricklyPear Pictures. A graduate of UCLA Law School and the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting, Jacob spent a decade working in Hollywood as an award-winning writer/producer on various feature films and television shows with studios ranging from Warner Bros. to Nickelodeon. He was also awarded a 2019-2020 Jewish Writers Initiative Fellowship in conjunction with The Maimonides Fund. Inspired by both ideology and opportunity, Jacob turned his sights following the Covid 19 pandemic toward Israeli entertainment and created a production company dedicated to bringing authentic Israeli stories to a global audience.
